The Asian Leadership Foundation (ALF) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the involvement and representation of Asian Australians in politics, government, and the public sector. The Foundation aims to provide training, education, mentorship, and resources to empower Asian Australians with the leadership skills needed to thrive in these sectors. By engaging in activities that promote the inclusion of Asian Australians in mainstream political discourse, ALF strives to ensure that their perspectives are well-represented in public policy discussions. The Foundation also focuses on promoting civic education programs to raise awareness about democratic processes, civic duties, and rights, with a particular emphasis on the Asian Australian community. These initiatives work towards fostering a more inclusive and diverse political and public sector landscape in Australia.

Celebrating Our First WA Cohort！
Our inaugural Waratah Program WA cohort graduated in October 2025! Over the past months, our 24 participants have embarked on a truly transformative journey — growing not only in knowledge and skills, but also in connection: supporting one another, listening deeply, and creating space for every voice.
Their journeys remind us that leadership is not defined by titles or status, but by inclusivity, empathy, integrity, and courage — the courage to ask, “Who’s not at the table?” and to make space for those voices.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guest speakers, lecturers, and mentors for sharing your wisdom and time with our cohort, and to our participants for showing up fully and trusting the process.
As our Waratah leaders step forward, we know they will continue to lead with authenticity, inclusion, and impact — embodying the true spirit of Connection as Power.
